one of my first poems
poetry is also an art form. this is one of my first poems.
Strength to Love you
When I see you,
Your smile, like sunshine through the clouds.
Warm, bringing me strength when your near.
Like a wilted, dead rose, brought back to life.
OR,
When I see you,
Your eyes, those deep, dark pools of mystery.
With that burning gaze of longing.
Searching, waiting for me to open my door,
Like the key that unlocks my heart.
I WISH,
That while we are apart,
You, the guard that holds that tiny key,
who now knows the depths of my meaning,
which used to be lost,
Will forever hold on to the future.
I have fallen in love again.
Through all the doubts and hidden tears,
I have fallen in love again.

This is a photo of myself. I love photography and I think it is a great way to express yourself. I like this picture because I feel it is almost Andy Warhol-esk.

The Sceam by Edvard Munch
"I was walking along a path with two friends—the sun was setting—suddenly the sky turned blood red—I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence—there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city—my friends walked on, and I stood there trembling with anxiety—and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature."
—Edvard Munch
